The race follows a flat, predominanltly off-road, route starting just outside the locally well-known Norman Park Athletics Track. The course begins with a lap of the field and then winds across leafy Bromley Common. We hope that you enjoy the simple pleasures afforded by Bromley’s scenery at its best, on a mid-summer's evening, along with great company!

For those who wish to use their own mapping devices, the route can be downloaded in GPS Exchange ("GPX") format: route.gpx

Owing to the terrain, the course is unsuitable for wheelchair entrants. Should blind runners wish to enter they would need to be led by an experienced guide-runner owing to the length and difficulty of the course, especially the numerous tree roots along the woodland sections.

Difficulty rating

The course difficulty rating is 2/10: with 80% on winding trails and 20% on flat pavement or paths, the event is considered to be of low difficulty and well within the ability of all reasonably fit runners.

Please note that the route may be subject to change at the organisers' discretion. We have modified the original route slightly for 2017 to start outside the track but may need to make further adjustments as circumstances dictate. We will endeavor to keep any changes to a minimum.
